Which sent contact requests are withdrawn?
Contact Cleanup only processes requests you sent that are still pending on XING and older than the selected age threshold. Newer requests stay in place. If a profile is part of an active follow-up sequence, ZingBot also retains that request. XING limits and ZingBot explains why ZingBot does not publish one fixed cap.
Open the contact requests page
Contact Requests lists the requests you have sent on XING that are still pending. They count against your XING limit even if they are never answered. One prerequisite: your XING credentials must be stored, or the cleanup button stays disabled.
Choose the age threshold
You decide how old a request has to be before it counts as old. Requests before that cutoff are eligible for cleanup; newer ones are left untouched.
Start the cleanup
ZingBot now works through the requests inside your XING account. It takes a few minutes; you can leave the page open.
Done
When it finishes, the button is active again. Eligible old requests have been withdrawn; newer requests and those needed for active follow-up sequences are retained.
If cleanup will not start or a request is skipped
First check that your XING credentials are stored in ZingBot and that no other workflow is running. An individual request may remain because it is newer than the selected threshold or belongs to a profile in an active follow-up sequence. If a run stops, do not start several runs in parallel; check the status again and contact ZingBot support if it repeatedly stops.
Withdraw a request, delete a contact, or delete a message?
Contact Cleanup withdraws a pending contact request that you sent. It does not remove an existing XING contact or delete a message. Use XING’s own controls for those actions; the current instructions are available in XING Help.
